Pro-Seal 80046 Black RTV Silicone Instant Gasket 3oz

Directions:
1. Remove old gasket and gasketing material thoroughly. Clean and dry all surfaces with a residue-free solvent.
2. Cut nozzle to desire bead size- gaskets are best formed using a 1/16” to 1/4” bead. Insert nozzle on opened tube (to open: unscrew cap and pierce tube with the point of the cap).
3. FOR GASKET REPLACEMENT, apply to 1 surface in an unbroken, uniform bead, encircling all bolt holes. FOR JOINT BONDING, apply a bead of sealant to one mating surface. If join is to be regularly opened, apply a light film of oil to other mating surface before closing.
FOR GASKET DRESSING, apply to both sides of precut gasket before installation.
4. Assemble parts immediately. Finger tighten bolts until material begins to squeeze out around flange. Allow to dry for one hour then retighten. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
5. Silicone dries in 1 hour and fully cures in 24 hours (allow more time for cold conditions).
6. Excess material can be removed from parts by trimming with sharp blade. Avoid undercutting seal.
7. Remove nozzle and recap tube (excess material can be removed from nozzle after cure).
